Vibra Energia, Brazil's largest fuel distributor, has announced that it will double its diesel imports for the month of April, ensuring product availability across its network of Petrobras-branded stations. CEO Ernesto Pousada made this declaration during an interview with CNN Brasil, reassuring consumers amidst growing concerns about potential fuel shortages. The company’s decision comes after a letter from a national distributors’ union highlighted risks to the country’s fuel supply and urged the government and the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) to take action, including resuming auctions by Petrobras.
