The public examination for teaching positions in the Piauí state education department (Seduc) will see over 30,000 candidates participating across 18 municipalities. The exam, scheduled for this Sunday, will open registration for 4,000 available positions. Candidates can check their test locations on the organizing body's website, with the roles offering substantial remuneration based on workload — R$ 2,625.41 for 20 hours a week and R$ 5,250.83 for 40 hours.
The examination format consists of objective and discursive tests and will commence at 1:30 PM. Candidates are advised to arrive early as gates will open at 12 PM and close at 1 PM. The total duration of the test will be 4 hours and 30 minutes. On the day of the exam, specific regulations must be adhered to, including bringing a black pen in a transparent case, proof of registration, and a government-issued photo ID, while restrictions apply regarding electronic devices and other items.
Out of the total 4,000 positions, 2,000 are for immediate hiring, while the rest will create a reserve list for future employment.
