Among the frontrunners, both "Belén" from Argentina and "Los Domingos" from Spain boast 11 nominations each, followed closely by Brazil's "O agente secreto" with 8 nominations and Spain's "Sirât" with 7 nominations. Notably, no Ecuadorian options made it to the final lists despite having been pre-selected in earlier rounds.
In the miniseries or telefilm category, Argentine production "El Eternauta" leads with 13 nominations, while Spain's "Anatomía de un instante" follows with 12 nominations. This year's competition highlights the growing prominence of Argentine and Spanish productions within the Ibero-American film landscape, marking a trend towards increased recognition for content emerging from these countries.
