Mahutšihh became indoor world champion again, silver won by three women

At the Indoor Athletics World Championships held in Torun, Poland, Ukrainian high jumper Jaroslava Mahutšihh achieved a remarkable feat by winning her second gold medal in this prestigious event. The reigning Olympic champion and world record holder cleared heights of 1.93m, 1.96m, and 1.99m on her first attempts before she clinched victory with a jump of 2.01m. Although she attempted to surpass 2.06m, she was unsuccessful in all three attempts. This victory marks her return to the top of the podium as indoor world champion for the first time since 2022, where she previously had won bronze and silver medals in prior championships.
