On Friday, the astronomical spring commenced at 16:46, and the town of Türi welcomed the change of season with special festivities, proudly claiming its title as Estonia's Spring Capital for the 27th consecutive year. The celebration was deeply rooted in tradition, with the mascot of Türi, Murumoor, signaling the awakening of spring. Regardless of the weather, the first lawnmower is activated, and the yellow flag is raised for the three spring months, symbolizing Türi's commitment to being acknowledged as the Spring Capital of Estonia, with a population of about 5,200. This year, the spirit of spring has already filled the hearts of the residents well in advance.
