Specialized clinic for climacterium and menopause inaugurated in Cubatão, SP
A new clinic focused on climacterium and menopause has been inaugurated in Cubatão to support women's health services in the area.
The city of Cubatão has inaugurated the Climatério and Menopause Clinic at the São Judas University Medical School, aimed at providing specialized health services to women in the city registered at local health units. The inauguration took place on Wednesday, March 18, with notable attendees including the mayor, César Nascimento, and various health and human rights officials, highlighting the city's commitment to women's health as part of Women's Month celebrations.
This initiative is part of the "Third Floor" project, developed in collaboration between São Judas University and the Cubatão City Hall through the Health Secretariat. The clinic not only offers specialized care for women undergoing menopause and climacterium but also serves as a practical training ground for medical students and residents under the supervision of experienced doctors, thereby enriching their education while delivering essential health services.
By enhancing access to specialized women's health care, the clinic aims to address the needs of local women with a focus on climacteric health issues, promoting awareness and improving health outcomes. This initiative reflects a broader movement towards ensuring women receive adequate health support, as well as fostering the next generation of healthcare providers in Brazil.
