Women’s Health Care Center Starts Operating in Bragança Paulista

The "Dr. Waldemar Muniz" Women’s Health Care Center has opened in Bragança Paulista, enhancing specialized public health services for women in the area.

The "Dr. Waldemar Muniz" Women’s Health Care Center commenced operations on March 9 in Bragança Paulista, Brazil, marking a significant enhancement of specialized healthcare services for women in the municipal public health network. Located at Avenida São Lourenço, the facility is designed to accommodate approximately 400 specialized appointments and 250 ultrasound examinations each month, addressing the increasing demand for women's health services in the region.

This new health center integrates various services focusing on gynecological consultations, exams, and multiprofessional follow-up with a commitment to providing humane care, particularly for women experiencing violence. The facility includes gynecological consultation rooms, examination areas, and a dedicated space known as "Sala Lilás" that caters specifically to women's needs, ensuring a supportive environment for vulnerable patients.

The establishment of this center is part of a broader initiative to enhance healthcare infrastructure in Bragança Paulista, which also features a Children's Health Care Center and a Multi-Experiential Space. With a total constructed area of 667.29 m², the facility aims to strengthen the local healthcare framework, promoting well-being and comprehensive support for women and children in the community.
