The ExpoPIM 4.0, which focuses on the new industry landscape in Brazil, concluded on Friday at the Vasco Vasques Convention Center in Manaus. The event featured 115 stands with representatives from various industries, public institutions, and visitors, organized by the Superintendency of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa) in collaboration with the Somar Amazônia Institute. This gathering allowed for the discussion of trends and developments within the region's industrial sector, aiming to foster greater awareness and support among the local community.

During the event, Suframa's superintendent, Bosco Saraiva, shared impressive statistics about the Manaus Free Trade Zone (PIM), reporting that there are currently 553 factories operating, generating R$ 227.7 billion in revenue and employing 132,000 workers. He noted that approximately 23,000 new jobs have been created in recent years, attributed to a favorable business environment that encourages economic growth and investment. This significant employment boost illustrates the impact of the industrial sector on the local economy and highlights the success of initiatives aimed at strengthening the PIM.

Saraiva emphasized the importance of raising public awareness about the PIM and its contributions to the region, stating that understanding the model is essential for advocating its benefits.
