In celebration of Women's Month, the 16th edition of 'Transformation Day' will take place on Saturday, the 21st, in the São Gonçalo neighborhood of Petrolina. This community event is scheduled from 8 AM to 1 PM at the João Batista dos Santos Municipal School, where a variety of free services aimed at enhancing well-being, promoting citizenship, encouraging female entrepreneurship, and addressing health issues will be made available to women in the area.

The services offered will include beauty treatments such as haircuts and skin care, as well as health check-ups with blood pressure monitoring and rapid testing for various conditions. In addition to health services, there will also be informative sessions about HPV and awareness of different types of violence, alongside support for women entrepreneurs through consultations on financial matters. The event aims to create a supportive environment for women by also including recreational activities such as karaoke, educational games, and art workshops for children.

This initiative is organized by the Chamber of Dirigentes Lojistas (CDL) and embodies a commitment to empowering women in the local community. By offering these comprehensive services, the event aligns with broader efforts to enhance the quality of life for women and foster a sense of community in Petrolina, aiming to inspire women to take charge of their health and entrepreneurial aspirations while celebrating their contributions to society.
