Workshop discusses the impacts of the digital environment on women's health

A workshop organized by Social Good Brazil focuses on the effects of the digital environment on women's health, addressing issues like information overload and anxiety.

Social Good Brazil, an organization dedicated to technology and data projects aimed at collective well-being, is hosting a series of workshops titled 'Cultivating Health and Digital Well-Being – Women in Impact.' This initiative targets women entrepreneurs and social leaders in the cities of Florianópolis, São Paulo, and Brasília during March and April. The workshops will address the effects of the digital environment particularly on attention, sleep, emotions, and relationship quality, while offering alternatives to mitigate these issues.

The event highlights the dual nature of technological advancements, which have enhanced connectivity and mobilization opportunities but also have intensified problems such as information overload, digital anxiety, and cognitive fatigue. Social Good Brazil emphasizes the importance of understanding how platform design, algorithms, and human behavior interact, and aims to encourage a more mindful relationship with technology.

Scheduled dates for the workshops include March 26 in Florianópolis, April 7 in São Paulo, and April 10 in Brasília. These sessions are designed to provide women with tools and insights to manage their digital interactions more healthily, fostering both individual and collective well-being in a digitally connected world.
