In Esmeraldas, located in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, a 33-year-old man was arrested by the Military Police in a drug trafficking operation. The arrest occurred on Thursday, prompted by an anonymous tip-off, leading officers to a residence in Jardim das Oliveiras, where they discovered a significant quantity of cocaine and equipment essential for its preparation and distribution. The authorities seized approximately 200 kilograms of cocaine, showcasing a significant drug operation in the area.

Upon entering the property, police apprehended the suspect while he was attempting to leave with a suitcase containing a substantial amount of cocaine.
