Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa provided agricultural tools, property titles, and benefits to over 2,400 producers in the Azuay, Cañar, and Loja provinces to enhance rural development.

On March 19, President Daniel Noboa of Ecuador led a ceremony in Cuenca, delivering crucial agricultural support to over 2,400 producers from the Azuay, Cañar, and Loja provinces. This initiative is part of a strategy by the government to boost the agricultural sector, which is vital for the country's economy, contributing around 8% to the GDP and generating 30% of rural employment. The support provided underscores the government's commitment to enhance the productivity and security of rural workers.

During the event, President Noboa emphasized his administration’s belief in the capacity and hard work of farmers in sustaining the nation economically. The assistance included the distribution of nine tractors aimed at improving productivity in the fields, along with the provision of 349 property titles intended to ensure legal security over land ownership and facilitate access to credit options for the producers. Additionally, farmers received 100 agricultural packages and certificates, bolstering their ability to cultivate efficiently and sustainably.

This initiative illustrates the Ecuadorian government's proactive approach to supporting its agricultural sector and rural employment, demonstrating a recognition of the strategic importance of agriculture in the nation’s economic framework.
