A Colombian couple was apprehended on the night of October 18th in Jundiaí, São Paulo, after allegedly stealing over R$ 5,000 worth of products from two local pharmacies. The incident began when the Municipal Guard was called to investigate a theft at a pharmacy on Avenida Jundiaí, where staff reported that a man and woman had taken personal hygiene items, medications, and other goods without paying.

While patrolling the area, authorities received information that the suspects had entered another pharmacy location on Rua do Retiro. Upon arrival, they discovered that the couple, who had fled the scene in a vehicle, was still nearby. The guards managed to locate and stop the vehicle, and upon searching it, they found the stolen merchandise inside. The couple admitted to the thefts, confirming they had also stolen from the second pharmacy.

This incident not only raises concerns about retail theft in urban centers but also highlights the ongoing challenges faced by local law enforcement in managing crime effectively.
