The Latvian platform ManaBalss.lv has unveiled a refreshed visual identity aimed at improving the user experience for creating and utilizing initiatives. The redesign, which the team has been working on for the past year, expresses gratitude to supporters for their patience during this period. The new homepage features a prominent message, 'My voice - my freedom,' highlighting the importance of using one's voice in the public sphere as a fundamental aspect of democracy.

At the heart of the new graphic identity is the outline of a megaphone, symbolizing a call to action and citizen voice in the public arena. According to project leader Valtiņa, the design can also be interpreted as a speech bubble, which encourages discussion and democratic dialogue. Additionally, the logo incorporates a checkbox element as a nod to civic participation, representing not just the expression of an idea but also its collective support.

The updated design also reflects references to network coverage and a commitment to development, indicating a forward-thinking approach in how the platform positions itself within both the digital landscape and the democratic process.
