In a courageous act, a shop worker in Coventry managed to trap an armed robber, identified as Jordan Peebles, inside the store during a robbery attempt on Christmas Eve. Peebles, who wielded a kitchen knife during the ordeal, assaulted the shop worker and began to fill a bag with stolen goods.
