In Jaipur's Kardhani police station area, a robbery plot by criminals was foiled when shopkeeper Yogendra Prasad Sharma displayed remarkable bravery. The incident occurred at Tanishka Store in Kaviraj Market on the night of February 6, around 9:45 PM. Two young men, disguised as customers with their faces covered by masks, initially approached Sharma to buy some items, creating a sense of normalcy that allowed them to gain his trust.

However, as Sharma was engrossed in retrieving more merchandise, the situation escalated swiftly. One of the assailants grabbed Sharma's hair from behind while the other threw chili powder in his eyes, leaving him momentarily blinded and disoriented. Despite the surprise attack and the assailants physically engaging him and attempting to enter the counter area, Sharma's quick reflexes and determination prevented them from executing their robbery plans successfully.

The entire encounter was recorded on CCTV, showcasing the audacious tactics of the robbers and the courageous response from the shopkeeper.
