New features for students in mObywatel Junior
The mObywatel Junior app has introduced new digital conveniences for students, including a disability ID and a Transport Discount ID.
The Polish Ministry of Digitalization has announced enhancements to the mObywatel Junior application, specifically aimed at offering new digital conveniences for students. Among these new features are the Disability ID, which enables users with disabilities to confirm their status and eligibility for discounts directly from their smartphones, and the Transport Discount ID, which caters to employees of the Polish railways and their families. This ID facilitates reduced fare access for train travel.
The introduction of the Disability ID is particularly significant for young users who hold an official disability certificate. With just a few clicks, they can now validate their entitlement to various discounts without needing to carry physical documentation, thereby improving accessibility. The Transport Discount ID, on the other hand, is intended for young individuals who qualify based on their employment or familial ties to Polish railway workers.
For students eligible for either of these new documents, the mObywatel Junior app streamlines the process of adding their digital IDs. By simply accessing the application and tapping "Add" in the top right corner of the homepage, students can now manage their entitlements conveniently in one place. This digital leap not only enhances user engagement but also reflects Poland's ongoing efforts toward digital transformation in public services, especially in education and transport sectors.
