On Wednesday morning, evacuees in Ålesund were informed that they could return home after nearly 300 individuals had been evacuated due to a significant fire. The police, after consulting with the fire department, decided to lift the evacuation order, allowing residents to re-enter their homes. Prior to the lifting of the order, the municipality had provided accommodations in hotels for those affected.
