In the capital city of Riga, clouds will begin to gather in the afternoon, leading to rainfall by evening, with air temperatures climbing to around +9 degrees Celsius.
The weakening influence of an anticyclone and the approaching atmospheric front will result in lower air pressure readings, dipping between 1024 and 1028 hectopascals at sea level. Earlier in the day, temperatures across the country ranged from +1 degree Celsius in AinaΕΎi to a cold -5.6 degrees Celsius in Madona. Throughout the day, cloud coverage is expected to increase in the northwestern regions, with little to no precipitation noted during the early hours, although some areas may experience fog as visibility decreases.
