Zuga will present a dance performance on mental health by Unified Dancers

On March 20, a family performance titled 'What's Wrong with You?' addressing mental health issues will premiere in collaboration with the mental health advocacy portal Peaasi.ee.

On March 20, coinciding with the International Day of Happiness, the Unified Dancers will premiere a family-oriented performance called 'What's Wrong with You?' This production aims to address the importance of mental health, mutual recognition, and resilience, developed in collaboration with the mental health advocacy website Peaasi.ee. The initiative for this performance stemmed from Peaasi.ee, which conducts campaigns aimed at promoting mental well-being through various means, including performing arts.

Ingrid KÀÀramees, a producer from the performance's organizing body, highlighted the significance of movement and creativity as vital components of mental health, describing the performance as a 'supportive piece' that tackles potentially heavy themes in a positive and uplifting manner. Before reaching the stage, the theater team engaged with schools, conducted workshops, and completed mental health first aid training to better prepare themselves for this project, ensuring they approached the subject with care and sensitivity.

The production reflects a collaborative effort, as all contributions are derived from the collective input of participants, with each artist allowing their interpretations to influence the final performance. This process not only fosters creativity but also resonates with the core message of the piece, demonstrating how individuals can support one another in addressing mental health and emotional challenges while promoting joy and positivity throughout the experience.
