A 29-year-old driver was apprehended following an incident in Santa Rita do Trivelato, Brazil, where he assaulted a court officer and fled from the police over a distance of approximately 100 kilometers. The incident began in Sinop when the suspect resisted police during a vehicle search and aggravated the situation by physically assaulting the court officer involved. After the assault, he escaped on the BR-163 highway heading towards Sorriso, demonstrating reckless driving behaviors.
