A 22-year-old woman was detained on Tuesday, October 7, on the Via Dutra highway in Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro, while driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen. The incident occurred at kilometer 279 of the highway during a routine patrol by the Federal Highway Police (PRF). Officers noticed a suspicious car with a license plate from Maricá, and upon further investigation, it was found that the driver did not possess a valid driver’s license (CNH).

Moreover, the PRF noted that the car showed signs of tampering with various identification features. The original registration indicated that the vehicle was licensed in Resende, RJ, and it had a reported theft dating back to January of the same year. As a result, both the woman and the recovered vehicle were taken to the Barra Mansa police station, where the case is being officially recorded and processed.
