In a dramatic incident in Arapiraca, Alagoas, a man was arrested after breaking into the 3rd Military Police Battalion on Tuesday, October 17th. The individual confronted his ex-partner, who had sought refuge at the station out of fear for her physical and psychological safety due to ongoing threats. Reports indicate the woman felt that her life was in danger, prompting her to go directly to the police for help.
Upon his invasion of the battalion, the man not only threatened his ex-partner but also verbally assaulted the officers present, displaying a blatant disregard for law enforcement. Although he fled the scene initially, police were able to track him down at his residence. During the search, authorities discovered that he had a firearm stored in a shed in the Canafístula neighborhood, raising serious concerns over the potential risk he posed to the community and his ex-partner.
The authorities apprehended the weapon, a Taurus G2C pistol, and brought the suspect to the Special Police Station for the Defense of Women's Rights in Arapiraca.
