Police arrest six for drug trafficking and seize 30 kg of drugs in Sumaré

The operation resulted in the seizure of over 30 kilograms of illegal substances, including marijuana, cocaine, and crack. The police arrived at a property in the Sítio Pau Pintado neighborhood just in time to find the suspects handling the drugs and associated paraphernalia used for packaging and distribution.
Upon their apprehension, the suspects allegedly confessed that they were hired to package the drugs and were compensated between R$ 400 and R$ 500 for their work. This confession highlights the organized nature of the operation, suggesting that the individuals involved were part of a larger network. Following the initial arrests, police also went to a second location where more drugs were found, indicating that the operation reviewed could lead to additional arrests.
In addition to the drugs, police confiscated precision scales, packaging materials, money, cell phones, and two vehicles during the raids. The six suspects were taken to the police station and remain in custody while awaiting judicial proceedings.
