On March 18, Ukrainian local authorities reported that Russian attacks resulted in at least two fatalities and 20 injuries across various regions within the country. The Air Force confirmed that Russian forces deployed a total of 147 drones, with over 70 classified as Shahed-type. In the eastern Donetsk Oblast, there were reports of injuries to four individuals due to Russian assaults, as conveyed by regional governor Vadym Filashkin. Notably, one civilian was killed, and three others were injured in preliminary drone strikes targeting a district in western Kharkiv early in the morning of March 18.

The attacks also extended towards Zaporizhzhia Oblast, where a strike near the front line resulted in another fatality.
