A cold wave is approaching Poland. We are expecting a drop in temperatures
Weather in Poland is expected to change significantly in the coming days as cold polar air moves in, causing nighttime frosts.
Poland is currently under the influence of a broad high-pressure system named Lukas, but this will soon shift as cold air masses from the northeast begin to arrive. As the week progresses, daily temperatures will be moderate, but residents should prepare for the possibility of nighttime frost.
Today's weather across much of Poland is anticipated to be clear and sunny, with maximum temperatures ranging from approximately 9 to 14 degrees Celsius. The coastal areas and parts of Pomerania will be slightly cooler, with temperatures around 5 degrees, while in Lower Silesia, the thermometers could reach up to 15 degrees. Although the day remains pleasant, the impending cold air will signal a notable shift.
Thursday is expected to bring little change to the weather pattern, as high-pressure conditions continue to dominate. However, as the cold wave continues to advance, these conditions are likely to result in more pronounced temperature drops in the upcoming nights, prompting experts to advise residents on potential health impacts due to the significant shift in weather.
