Zelensky: We can produce 2000 defensive drones daily

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine can produce around 2000 defensive drones daily and has sent military experts to the Middle East to aid against Iranian drones.

During a speech in the British Parliament, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that Ukraine is capable of producing approximately 2000 defensive drones each day, emphasizing that they are willing to share half of this production with their allies to strengthen their defenses. Zelensky's comments come in the context of ongoing military cooperation and support from Western nations focused on countering drone warfare, which has become a significant aspect of modern conflicts.

Zelensky highlighted the deployment of 201 Ukrainian military experts to the Middle East aimed at aiding nations in combating Iranian 'Shahed' drones. These Iranian drones have been notably used by Russia in its war against Ukraine, posing a particular threat to security in the region. The cooperation with Middle Eastern countries reflects a broader strategy of Ukraine to extend its expertise in drone defense systems, developed amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia.

In addition to announcing the potential production of drones and military partnerships, Zelensky's visit to the UK included the signing of a defense partnership agreement with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This agreement is intended to leverage Ukraine’s extensive experience in counter-drone technology, particularly against the backdrop of increasing drone-related threats emanating from hostile states like Iran. This presents an opportunity for Ukraine and its allies to bolster regional security against shared threats.
