City Hall can now start registrations for the São José Operário and Marajoara residences, says minister

The Brazilian Minister of Cities announced that the city of Santarém will soon begin the registration process for housing projects São José Operário and Marajoara as they reach 50% completion.

During a visit to the Moaçara Residential complex in Santarém, Minister Jader Filho announced that the local city hall is preparing to start the beneficiary registration process for two housing projects, São José Operário and Marajoara, as they have reached 50% completion. This announcement follows the established guidelines of the Minha Casa Minha Vida program, where registration can commence once construction reaches this milestone.

The Minister emphasized the importance of community engagement in housing developments and reported that discussions had already taken place with the Santarém mayor regarding the registration logistics. The city hall's team is expected to set up the necessary procedures to facilitate the registration in the coming weeks, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries can apply for these new housing opportunities.

These housing projects, São José Operário and Marajoara, are designed similarly to the previously completed Moaçara I and II residences. The visit by Jader Filho, attended by local, state, and federal authorities, signifies a collaborative effort to improve housing availability and support the local community in Santarém, Pará.
