President of CPMI states that Senate Police will investigate possible entry of camera into vault room housing Vorcaro's data

The president of the Mixed Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPMI) confirmed an investigation into a potential security breach involving a camera in a secure room containing sensitive data related to Daniel Vorcaro.

Senator Carlos Viana, the president of the Mixed Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPMI) concerning the INSS, announced that the Senate Police will investigate a potential incident where an individual may have entered a secure vault room with a camera. This room holds critical files related to the confidentiality breaches involving Daniel Vorcaro, the owner of Banco Master. Such allegations raise significant concerns about data security and the integrity of the investigation aimed at examining Vorcaro's actions.

On Monday evening, December 16, the Supreme Federal Court's Justice André Mendonça issued an order restricting access to the sensitive materials stored in the CPMI’s vault. This decision was deemed necessary to ensure the confidentiality of information concerning the investigation into Vorcaro. Senator Viana expressed his dismay at the alleged attempts to leak sensitive information that could compromise the integrity of the evidence gathered during the investigation.

The priority now, Viana stressed, is to safeguard the material related to Vorcaro, which is vital for the ongoing investigative process. Any breaches could severely affect the outcomes and the accountability of those involved. This situation underscores the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive materials in political and financial investigations in Brazil, especially under the scrutiny of public and judicial authorities.
