In a heartbreaking incident from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, a wife faced dire consequences for opposing her husband's interactions with his girlfriend, leading to her tragic murder. The victim, Rekha, had been married to Mansharam for several years but was troubled by his continued contact with another woman, resulting in frequent disputes. This ongoing conflict escalated to a point where it ultimately ended in violence.

The situation intensified during a family celebration of Holi, when Rekha chose to leave for her parental home due to the disputes with her husband. On March 16, the accused cleverly devised a plot to call her back to the fields under the pretense of reconciliation. Tragically, once Rekha arrived, Mansharam struck her with a stick, inflicting fatal injuries that led to her death in a wheat field.

Following the incident, the accused left Rekha's body in the wheat field and attempted to conceal the crime. However, law enforcement managed to apprehend Mansharam, who has since been arrested and is facing legal proceedings as the investigation continues.
