Teenager who disappeared after being dropped off at school is found in Senador Canedo

A 14-year-old girl who went missing for three days in Goiânia was found safe in Senador Canedo by the police.

Larissa Yasmin Jesus Silva, a 14-year-old girl who disappeared for three days in Goiânia, was located in Senador Canedo on the evening of Monday, October 16. Reportedly, she had been staying at the house of a 27-year-old woman. During questioning, which was supervised by the Child Protective Council, Larissa denied being held against her will and stated that she had run away from home due to family conflicts.

The disappearance occurred on Friday, October 13, when she was dropped off by a school van at the Military College Hugo de Carvalho Ramos at approximately 12:30 PM. Her family reported her missing on the same day. According to police, she seemed content when found and mentioned that she willingly went to the woman's house.

Larissa has since been returned to her family, and authorities from the Child Protective Council and the Children's and Adolescent Protection Delegation will be monitoring the situation to ensure her well-being in the aftermath of her disappearance and return.
