She condemned their attempts to celebrate Kanshiram's birthday, suggesting hypocrisy, as she pointed out Congress's failure to honor Kanshiram with the Bharat Ratna during its time in power. Mayawati's comments included a veiled criticism of Chandrashekhar Azad, the chief of Bhim Army, who recently held a rally in Barabanki on the same occasion, implying that these parties have consistently sought to undermine the BSP.
