The Tartu Titans organized a training camp in Paide, attended by over 60 players from Baltic teams.
The Tartu Titans, Estonia's only American football club, held a training camp in Paide over the past weekend that attracted more than 60 American football players from the Baltic region. The camp included representatives from five Baltic clubs and two Estonian flag football clubs, as well as the only women's team in Estonia. The intense training session lasted from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, culminating in a practice match on Sunday.
Head coach Craig Hamer expressed great satisfaction with the camp's success, stating that all Baltic teams were present and that the experience exceeded expectations. He remarked on the high level of coaching that may not have been seen before in Estonia and suggested that this event marks the beginning of something special that could elevate the entire Baltic league.
In a collaborative effort, teams from Tartu, Riga, Kaunas, Vilnius, and Klaipeda set aside their rivalries for the event, demonstrating a positive atmosphere where teams played together without tension. Although there is a competitive spirit, the players enjoyed working with each other, highlighting the camaraderie and unity of the sport across regions and paving the way for future cooperation among Baltic teams.
