A grand American football camp will be held in Paide
An American football camp organized by the Tartu Titans will take place in Paide, Estonia, focusing on individual player development and participation from clubs across the Baltics.
The Tartu Titans, Estonia's only American football club, is set to host a unique training camp in Paide's hall on March 14-15. This event aims to focus on individual player development and will bring together players from various Baltic clubs, including flag football teams from Estonia. As of March 1, over 50 players have already registered, who will participate in three structured and guided training sessions over the two days.
The head coach of the reigning Baltic champion club, Craig Hamer, expressed the camp's ambitious goals, stating that they aimed to elevate the region's playing level by bringing in top-tier coaches from the USA, Germany, Finland, and Estonia. The impressive lineup of coaches was described as something none of them had previously imagined. This camp could significantly boost the skills and understanding of American football for participants in the region, enhancing overall competition.
Among the experienced coaches attending are Bob Isbell, bringing expertise from Texas, alongside Tartu Titans' long-time quarterback Ingemar KΓΌΓΌner, who will work closely with the quarterbacks. Seppo Evwaraye, head coach of the Finnish premier league club Wasa Royals, and Estonian manager Martti Kass will lead the training for the linemen. The camp represents an important opportunity for growth in American football in Estonia and the Baltic region.
