Inep releases scores of practice students for Enem 2025; see how to check

Inep has released the results for students who took the Enem exam as practice candidates in 2025, available for consultation on the Participant Page.

Inep, the agency responsible for the National High School Exam (Enem) in Brazil, announced the release of scores for students who participated in the exam as 'treineiros' (practice candidates) on November 17, 2023. These practice candidates are high school students who take the exam to familiarize themselves with the format and assess their performance before they officially graduate. Although these scores are now accessible on the Participant Page, they have no validity for university admissions, as they cannot be used in selection processes.

The scores from the practice attempt are meant purely for pedagogical purposes. According to the new Sisu model, which allows the use of scores from up to two previous Enem editions for college admissions, the scores from 'treineiros' do not count. The regulations state that only scores obtained after the completion of high school or those from students in their final year are deemed valid for university entry. This means that students who take the exam as treineiros are essentially participating in a preparatory practice run.

Moving forward, students now need to strategize their exam attempts carefully. A student who practices at an earlier stage can retake the exam when they are eligible, but only the scores from that final attempt will matter for university admissions. This structure aims to help students gain experience with the testing process, but emphasizes that the practice attempts are not a substitute for the official scores needed for university applications.
