Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda advocates for increasing the non-taxable income threshold (NPD) in next year's budget to better support citizens.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has expressed his belief that the non-taxable income threshold (NPD) needs to be raised, as it has remained unchanged for the past two years. Currently set at 747 euros, the NPD applies to workers earning up to one minimum monthly salary, which is 1,038 euros. Nausėda noted the importance of not only maintaining the NPD but also ensuring that the budget aligns with future state priorities and serves the needs of the people.
