Two drunk men assaulted a security guard in a Klaipėda shopping center

Two intoxicated men attacked a security guard at a shopping center in Klaipėda, leading to an investigation for public order violation.

On March 16, at around 10:34 AM, an incident occurred at a shopping center on Vingio Street in Klaipėda, where a security guard attempted to apprehend a man. The individual resisted arrest and, along with another man, assaulted the security guard multiple times. As a result of the attack, the security guard required medical assistance, highlighting the potential dangers faced by security personnel in public spaces.

Following the assault, Klaipėda County police quickly identified and arrested two suspects. The first suspect, a 1988-born male, was found to have a blood alcohol concentration of 1.45 per mille, while the second suspect, born in 1991, had a blood alcohol level of 1.3 per mille.
