L. Fetingis, a long-serving priest in the Klaipėda region, has died at the age of 83, as confirmed by family members to the news portal VE.lt on March 17. His remains will be laid to rest at the Plikiai Evangelical Lutheran Church on March 18, with the coffin to be carried out on Thursday. Born in Pagėgių County in 1940, Fetingis was ordained as a priest in 1976, dedicating his life to serving various parishes including Plikiai, Sudargas, Kretinga, Priekulė, Katyčiai, Saugos, and Žemaičių Naumiestis. He was also involved in revitalizing and restoring churches in Dovilai, Juodkrantė, and Nida, reflecting his commitment to the community and faith.
