Milion Moments has seen the largest increase in sponsors in six years
The non-profit organization Milion chvilek has reported a significant 20% rise in regular donors this year, marking the largest increase since 2020.
Milion chvilek, a prominent non-profit organization in Czechia, has announced a noteworthy 20% increase in its regular donors this year, indicating a growing trust from the public. Veronika Marin, a representative of the organization, expressed gratitude for this development, noting that the average monthly donation has reached 260 CZK. Despite the increase, the organization is withholding specific financial figures until the end of the accounting period next year.
The organization assures transparency by maintaining proper accounting records of all received donations, whether through a transparent account or the donation portal Darujme. Additionally, Marin emphasized that all funds received come solely from voluntary donations, with no dependence on state or public budgets. This illustrates the organization's commitment to financial independence and accountability in its operations.
The latest financial report for 2024, which is publicly available, highlights a total amount of 21.6 million CZK in donations. Milion chvilek continues to uphold transparency by publishing annual reports audited by independent auditors, showing its activity overview and financial management, further solidifying public trust in their work and mission.
