Three drivers were apprehended for driving under the influence in Buenos Aires, as part of a series of operations conducted by the Provincial Ministry of Transport. These operations were carried out on the La Plata-Buenos Aires Highway and in the area of Hudson, where law enforcement successfully identified individuals driving while intoxicated.
Among the incidents reported, one driver recorded a blood alcohol content of 1.50 grams per liter, showcasing a severe level of intoxication. The case that stood out involved a man who, upon being summoned for a breathalyzer test, was so inebriated that he was unable to even blow into the tube necessary for measuring his blood alcohol level. This highlights the alarming issue of drunk driving in the region.
The Ministry, led by Martín Marinucci, has circulated a video of the incident to raise awareness about the dangers associated with alcohol consumption and driving. Such operations are critical in preventing potential accidents and enhancing road safety, calling attention to the need for stricter enforcement of alcohol-related driving laws in Argentina.
