Authorities in Nigeria have charged ten Filipino nationals along with the vessel MV Nord Bosporus at the Federal High Court in Lagos over their alleged involvement in the importation of 20 kilograms of cocaine. The arraignment took place on Monday before Justice Ayokunle Faji, who addressed the four-count charges of conspiracy and unlawful importation of narcotic drugs.

The prosecution, led by counsel Theresa Asuquo and assisted by Adekunle Onabajo, reported that the defendants were apprehended on November 16, 2025, during operations at the GDNL Terminal in Apapa Port, Lagos.
