On Monday evening, the police received multiple emergency calls from motorists on the E6 highway who spotted a woman along the road near Lindeberg in the municipality of Lillestrøm. Responding to these calls, police patrols found the woman, who stated that there had been a disagreement with her taxi driver regarding which hotel she was meant to be taken to. According to her account, the driver stopped the taxi and forcibly removed her from the vehicle on the highway.

Police spokesperson Henrik Larsen highlighted the seriousness of the allegation, commenting that if the woman's account is true, it constitutes a dangerous action that should never occur.
