The quality of road markings in Estonia has deteriorated in recent years, leading to upcoming seasonal renewal efforts.
As spring approaches, the Estonian Transport Agency has announced that it will allocate 1.8 million euros for the renewal of road markings across the country. This funding is intended for approximately 17,000 kilometers of roadways, yet officials express concern over the declining quality of the road markings in recent years. In fact, the budget for road markings has significantly decreased since 2020, with previous allocations in some years falling to as low as 900,000 euros.
