Welfare Pension for People with Disabilities: This is the Registration Calendar
The Mexican Welfare Secretariat has announced a new registration calendar for its social pension program aimed at individuals with disabilities.
The Mexican government has unveiled a new timeline for the Welfare Pension, specifically designed for individuals with disabilities who are yet to receive this benefit. The program is set to provide financial aid of 3,300 pesos every two months, assisting those who may not have access to such support previously. This measure emphasizes the administration's focus on inclusion and support for vulnerable populations.
Registrations for the program will take place from March 23 to March 29 at designated offices of the Welfare Secretariat. The officials have arranged for a systematic approach wherein applicants will be processed based on the first letter of their last name. This organized registration method is aimed at ensuring a smooth intake process and assisting the maximum number of eligible individuals. Caregivers aged 18 and over can accompany applicants, providing necessary support during the registration.
The announcement, made by the head of the Welfare Secretariat, Ariadna Montiel, underscores the importance of community awareness regarding the program's details. Individuals interested in applying are encouraged to visit the official website to locate the nearest registration site. This initiative represents a significant commitment by the Mexican government to enhance the livelihoods of citizens living with disabilities, fostering greater social inclusivity in the society.
