A tragic accident occurred on BR-365 in the rural area of Patos de Minas, MG, where a 56-year-old driver, whose name has not been disclosed, lost his life after his truck overturned. The incident took place on Sunday, October 15, during a rainstorm, which likely contributed to the driver losing control of the vehicle. The truck was loaded with bags of fertilizer at the time of the rollover.

Emergency services from the Corpo de Bombeiros arrived on the scene but found the driver already dead, entrapped in the cabin of the truck. The vehicle overturned around noon at kilometer 383 of the highway and came to rest outside the roadway, allowing traffic to continue without major disruption. The cargo was scattered beside the overturned truck, complicating the recovery efforts.

Following the accident, the Polícia Civil conducted an investigation at the scene, which included a forensic examination before the body was recovered and sent to the Instituto Médico Legal (IML) in Patos de Minas.
