The Civil Police of Minas Gerais reported the arrest of a 55-year-old man suspected of committing sexual crimes against children and adolescents in Peçanha, located in the Vale do Rio Doce region. This arrest took place on Friday, the 13th, following a preventive arrest warrant issued after a teenage girl reported that the suspect had made sexual proposals to her while she was traveling in a car. Thanks to her courage, the girl was able to distance herself from the situation and immediately informed her family about the incident.

One of the suspect's sons disclosed that similar incidents had occurred during his childhood, suggesting a pattern of behavior.
