On March 16, at approximately 10:56 AM, firefighters in Elektrėnai received a report regarding an accident at a construction site, where a man was trapped and needed assistance. Upon arrival, they discovered that the man had fallen approximately 7 meters from the second floor into a basement.

The firefighters employed various rescue equipment including ladders, stretchers, and a neck brace to safely extricate the man from the basement. After successfully lifting him back to the first floor, they found that he was conscious and promptly handed him over to emergency medical personnel for further care.

Preliminary reports suggest that the man was working at the construction site when the incident occurred, and the event is currently under investigation. This incident raises concerns about safety practices in construction environments and highlights the need for stringent safety protocols to protect workers from such accidents.
