Firefighters in Šakiai District rescued a driver from a car that had fallen into a river.
On March 13, at approximately 6:06 AM, the Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call regarding a car accident in the village of Lukšiai, Šakiai District, where a vehicle had plunged into a river with a person trapped inside. Upon arrival, firefighters successfully extricated the driver from the submerged vehicle and handed them over to ambulance personnel for medical assistance. Following the rescue of the individual, the emergency responders proceeded to retrieve the car from the river, ensuring the scene was secured and cleared for further investigation.
