On Monday, the Brazilian federal government released the final results of the second edition of the CNU (Concurso Nacional Unificado), which is informally referred to as the 'ENEM of Competitions'. This major examination had a large number of participants aiming for positions in the public sector. The results include rankings for immediate vacancies and those for reserve lists, reflecting the keen interest in public service careers among candidates.

Candidates can check their individual performance through the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) portal starting at 4 PM on the same day. In addition to listing the successful candidates, the announcement paves the way for upcoming appointments and necessary checks, including social investigations, defense of memorial, oral examinations, or training courses, as needed for the positions offered.

The CNU offered a total of 3,144 vacancies for higher education positions and another 508 for intermediate roles, spanning nine thematic blocks related to public administration. Of the total vacancies, 2,480 are for immediate hiring, while 1,172 are reserved for filling shortly after approval, indicating a structured approach to recruitment in Brazil's public sector.
