Remains of an unidentified object found in the forest in Lublin
Fragments of an unidentified airborne object were discovered in a forest near Krzywowierzba, Poland.
In a forest close to Krzywowierzba, located in the WÅodawa County of Lublin Voivodeship, several small fragments of a crashed aerial object were found by a 70-year-old man who was cutting down trees on his property. The discovery, reported by RMF FM, took place on Monday morning, March 16. The local police were notified of the finding, which raises questions regarding the nature and origin of the debris.
According to the individual who reported the find, the remains could be parts of a military aerial object, potentially a drone or a missile. The fragments are described as several dozen centimeters in length, gray in color, and have some markings in English. The discovery location is approximately two kilometers away from any buildings, suggesting the object might have crashed in a remote area, away from populated settings, which mitigates concerns about safety for nearby residents.
Authorities including local police, firefighters, and the Military Gendarmerie are present at the scene conducting investigations. This incident has sparked inquiries into aerial activities in federal contexts, particularly in light of rising tensions and incidents involving military violations. The implications of finding such debris could be significant, raising national security concerns and highlighting the necessity for clarity about airspace regulations and military operations in Poland and its vicinity.
